Care Giver Support

Daily Living Centers supports the hardworking community of caregivers in Oklahoma and continues to be an invaluable resource in helping caregivers and families eliminate worry, reduce stress, and reestablish personal freedom through respite services and monthly support groups.

Our support groups create opportunities for caregivers to connect with others who have gone through similar situations and provide information and a sense of community and connection.

If you’re interested in attending or speaking at one of our support groups, please call Amanda Dirmeyer at (405)233-3531.

We have made a change to our Caregiver Support Program! Over the last two years DLC has seen an increase in our adults with developmental disabilities population. With this change in census we have decided to host TWO caregiver support groups each month. The "Special Hearts for Special Needs" support group will focus on topics dealing with all types of intellectual and developmental disabilities and will be held virtually on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm.

The "Senior Caregiver Connection" support group will focus on topics involving our senior population and the obstacles that caregivers face. This meeting will be held virtually on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm.

All Caregivers in the community are welcome to join. For questions and registration please contact Cindy Kanatzar at cindy@dlcok.org or (405) 792-2401. We are excited for this opportunity to better serve the caregivers of both populations!

If you're interested in attending or speaking at one of our support groups, please call Cindy Kanatzar at (405) 888-9962.

Meeting via Zoom.
