Our Mission

Our mission is to be Oklahoma's leader in quality, affordable adult day health services and independent living services delivered with dignity.

Since1974, Daily Living Centers (DLC) has provided rest and hope for caregivers. We are Oklahoma’s first and leading nonprofit adult day provider for senior adults and adults with disabilities ages 18 and older. We offer non-residential day services for over 200 participants in an environment that enhances mind, body, and spirit. While attending DLC our “participants” enjoy healthy meals, exercise programs, socialization, activities, and outings that meet their individual needs. We have a fleet of 21 vehicles that provide door-to-door transportation and non-emergency medical rides. Many of our participants have physical and/or mental limitations or suffer from isolation and depression. Common diagnoses found in those we serve include dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, stroke, traumatic brain injury, autism, Down’s Syndrome, and other developmental disabilities.

Our Impact

Annually, we serve over 68,000 healthy meals thanks to Areawide Aging Agency and state programs. We provide 416 community outings and over 30,000 door- to door transportation trips. Our centers are professionally staffed with LPNs & CNAs to provide healthcare assistance. Our services keep our participants healthy, independent, and thriving at home while reducing isolation. Caregivers benefit as well by giving them peace of mind and the ability to continue to work, and rest from 24/7 caregiver duties.

DLC receives over $400,000 in adult day services and over $100,000 transportation scholarship requests, annually. Our goal is to never turn anyone away due to financial need. This is only made possible through our United Way of Central Oklahoma partnership and on-going support from community partners. A special thank you, Ann & Henry Zarrow Foundation, Wegener Foundation, Records - Johnson Family Foundation, E.L. and Thelma Gaylord Foundation, Merrick Foundation, and other private donors for your on-going support.
